Comments from some of my students

I would like to thank you for being a fine supervisor on my MS research work in the University of Cincinnati. Your comments were so valuable, especially those related to scientific and technical writing. It was my pleasure to have your sincere advice and input in my research work. I will always remember that. Thank you so much!

John assisted me multiple times with instructions in using different software packages, especially FORTRAN software. His instructions were highly valuable for me and helped me a lot in my projects and course-works.

John is a conscientious, highly-skilled technical instructor, worthy of at least a senior to management position. He has keen insight into the learning process, and is an expert in needs analysis, project management, course development, and classroom instruction. John’s in-depth product knowledge, unique instructional techniques, and excellent people skills have consistently received rave reviews from his learners.

I'm delighted to have been provided with the opportunity to thank you for your invaluable help during my doctoral dissertation. It is your incisive wisdom and scientific vision that helped me detail, design and fulfill my dissertation objectives.

Your thoughtful comments and valuable criticisms have always guided my doctoral research and it is your pedagogical skills that enabled me to grasp the fundamentals and intricacies of various topics in industrial and manufacturing engineering besides statistical concepts.

I am short of words to express my gratitude and I would summarize by saying that your association has left indelible marks and has helped me evolve into a true research personality. Thank you for all your help and I sincerely hope that there are more students benefiting from you.

Thank you very much for your tutoring in Mathematic Statistics and your teaching in Website Construction. I appreciate your teaching and your kindness.

As a student from social science, I am not an experienced learner in math and IT related studies. It was your teaching that made the difference of my studies in the above subjects. You broke down study materials into an understandable level for me, your visualization techniques made your instruction vivid and easy to follow, and your patience has guided me through the tough tasks in my Mathematic Statistics studies.

In all, I am grateful to you. I treasure that I have ever had a great teacher as you. I hope to learn more from you in the future.

Your helping me with my research especially with the writing skills helped me a lot. I think your high level of energy makes you an excellent research person. Also, with developing the entire software from scratch for predictive modeling, your assistance is highly appreciable. I also think that with your affable nature, you will make everyone feel comfortable around you. It was really great working with you and I wish you good luck for your future. Thanks for everything.

While learning driving from you and also lawn tennis, I have found that you have an excellent command on teaching practical aspects. You divide the subject in many parts and then explain step by step making it lucid and understandable. This also extends to academic discussions, which we had done a lot on geographic information systems and mathematical functions. Above all, your desire and enthusiasm to help and guide each and everyone makes you unique. Keep up the good work.
